Food for Thought

If there one thing we know, its that everyone in this house LOVES to eat! Recently we have been experimenting with some new meals for Gracie and Molly. Grace eats most of what I will cook and especially loves pancakes, PBJ's, dippy eggs ( eggs over easy ), mozzerella and anything she can dip into sour cream! But her true passion is for butter. She loves it- would eat it by the stick if we would let her. She loves it so much that yesterday while the butter was still out on the counter from her waffles that morning, she came into me in the office with a "glow". Literally she was glistening from the butter she just ate as it was smeared all over her chin, cheeks and neck! She had gone in chin first into the tub of spreadable butter. She said to me, "Mom, I don't smell like butter do I???" The kid gave herself away! I went into the kitchen to find the butter container looked like a crime scene. I made her stand like she was having her mug shot done at the local police department. It was hysterical.

Can you see the shine on her neck and chest?

 Who doesn't love butter???

Molly has been eating like an animal, as you can tell by all her rolls of fat in her photos. She is eating plenty of baby food and yogurt but has now started to enjoy waffles, scrambled eggs, grilled cheese, hamburger, pasta and meatballs. She enjoys most fruits I cut up for her until she tried a raspberry. A priceless picture of her face for that one.

Sure I'll try a raspberry!
Uh Oh
 Disgusting!

Pasta and Meatballs
 Look at those rolls!

Lastly while were on the subject of food, Grace has been helping me make Brian lunch each night. She loves helping with the sandwich. I think she just likes smushing it all together. Here are some pics of that as well.
