Fun in the Sun

We spent Father's Day in Ocean City, NJ at Brian's request. We started the morning off at the Point Diner ( always delicious ) and then hit the beach with some friends. It was a perfect day and all the kids played really well together. Grace just loves the beach and playing in the sand. She was covered from head to toe in sand about 10 minutes after we got there! Molly of course was a RockStar! She sat on a blanket and played for a bit. Then she splashed around in the little baby pool we brought with us. Then she napped for over 2 hours! Like I said- RockStar! We quickly rinsed off  ( thank Mibs ) and headed to the boards to grab a Mac and Manco's pizza to bring home for dinner. The girls were exhausted and slept the entire way home. It was a wonderful day! And maybe even a new Father's Day tradition!

Rainy Days

Who doesn't love a good rain every now and then? We love sitting on the front porch when it rains. Recently, anytime we go out to watch the rain, Grace has been asking can she "play" in the rain? I think the new umbrella she got for Christmas from Grandmom, Rainboots from Aunt Erica, and a new raincoat for her birthday from Melissa all added to her sudden urge to get out there and get wet. So tonight I let her go for it. Here are some pics and a short video.

Chuck E Cheese

It was really hot last week so we decided to stay cool by going to Chuck E Cheese to use up some tokens we still had from winter. Grace loves it there. We just go and play games. I refuse to buy the expensive/disgusting pizza so Grace has no clue they even serve food- a secret I plan on keeping from her as long as I possibly can. Here are some pictures from our recent trip with Connor and our trip from March to Chuck E Cheese- a place where a kid can be a kid!

PS- Molly does actually go with us on all of these little adventures. She is just so good that we rarely have to take her out of her carseat. She just chills and smiles and watches the big kids. She's awesome!

Dutch Wonderland- A Kingdom for Kids

Just like they sing in the commercial, Dutch Wonderland is a Kingdom for Kids! We ventured out to Lancaster last Saturday on Grace's real birthday to celebrate! Grace's best bud Connor's birthday is the following day ( just 22 hours apart ) so we got to spend the day celebrating two very special 3 years olds! Here are the pics and a short video. Enjoy!
