Longwood with MomMom

On Sunday we drove out to one of our favorite places with MomMom- Longwood Gardens. Its is always so beautiful there with lots to see and do. It was very hot but that didn't stop us from enjoying all the gorgeous flowers. The girls really love being with their MomMom so it was a special day to have her all to ourselves!

PS- We recently came home from MomMom's birthday dinner ( Happy Birthday MomMom ) to find we had won the Garden Contest for the local civic association. We didnt even enter but someone came with a sign, a certificate and a $25 check for best garden. Brian was so proud. He takes such great care of the whole property and is always out there watering and re-plating and changing things up! Way to go Bri- You definitely picked the right career choice!

Super Sized Saturday

What a wonderful weekend we had! Saturday was definitely HOT but we kept busy and cool. We had the Touch-A-Truck event at Freedom Playground which is right up Grace's ally. She is just like her father and loves trucks! Brian had a few of his trucks and mowers there too. It was so hot that they had a huge water slide and sprinkler going. We met some of our friends there and our Coyne Cousins. And finally we finished the event by getting Molly a hand tile for the Freedom Playground wall. Grace had one done in April of last year before Molly was born so we did Molly's foot on Saturday. It was so cute!

Later that day, we met back up with friends at the pool. It was the perfect day to go to the pool after a busy day at Touch-A-Truck and have dinner and swim. The kids has a blast- adults too!
